What the check looks at

  • Upper material and its texture under magnification
  • Stitching and joins
  • Markings, tags and labels inside

  • The pair as a whole — the photo used on the certificate

What we do not check

  • Brands outside the Entrupy catalogue
  • Wear, repairs and sizing: the check answers only the authenticity question

How a check works

The item never leaves your organisation.

  1. Photographing a Louis Vuitton wallet in the Verity app
    Step 1

    Guided photography

    Your employee photographs the item on site with a regular smartphone. The app shows which area to shoot and at what angle, and asks for a retake if a frame does not work.

  2. Photographing a zipper pull in the app
    Step 2

    Entrupy analysis

    The algorithm compares the microstructure of leather, stitching, embossing and hardware with reference authentic items of the brand. Usually minutes; up to a day for some high-value items.

  3. Entrupy certificate of authenticity on a phone screen

    Result and certificate

    Every confirmed item gets a digital certificate with a QR code. Anyone can verify it by number on entrupy.com.
